Block Blast Flower Event

Clear lines, collect petals, complete the bloom

The Flower Event adds one small twist to the classic game: every line you clear earns a petal. Collect 30 petals and the bloom is complete. It runs on the same rules you already know — an 8×8 board, three blocks per round — so there is nothing new to learn, only a new goal to chase.

How the Flower Event Works

Why It Changes How You Play

In classic endless play, the temptation is to hoard space and wait for a huge multi-line clear. The Flower Event rewards the opposite habit: consistent, smaller clears. One line every round keeps petals flowing, while a risky setup that ends your run earns nothing.

In practice, the best flower runs look a lot like the best high-score runs — steady clears, a protected 3×3 pocket, and near-clears held in reserve. If you can pace your clears, you will finish blooms quickly.

Tips for Faster Blooms

  1. Value the single clear. One petal per line means a safe 1-line clear every round beats a risky 3-line attempt that ends the run.
  2. Keep two near-clears ready. With two one-away lines, you can earn petals on back-to-back rounds without touching your core structure.
  3. Do not clear the board flat. Leaving a little structure gives you more line opportunities per round than an empty board does.
