Block Blast is more than one endless board. Depending on whether you want a pure high-score chase, a fair daily competition, or a short collection goal, there is a mode for it. All of them run in your browser with no download — here is how each one works and who it is for.

Core mode

Classic (Endless)

The pure block puzzle: an 8×8 grid, three blocks per round, and a run that ends only when nothing fits. Our build adds a difficulty engine that keeps boards fair as you push for a new personal best.

Best for: Chasing your highest score. Competitive

Daily Challenge

One fixed seed per day, identical for every player worldwide. The same blocks appear in the same order, and your score is ranked on a global daily leaderboard.

Best for: Fair, skill-based competition. Accessibility

Unblocked

The same game tuned for school and workplace networks, with a one-click fullscreen button for a distraction-free board on Chromebooks, laptops, and desktops.

Best for: Playing on restricted networks. Limited event

Flower Event

A collection layer on top of the classic game: every line you clear earns a petal, and petals complete a bloom. A fresh goal that changes how you value each clear.

Which Mode Should You Play?

Want to beat your own record? Play Classic — every run is a fresh board and a new chance at a personal best.
Want a fair fight? The Daily Challenge gives everyone the same blocks; only skill separates the scores.
Blocked at school or work? Use the Unblocked version with fullscreen mode.
Want a short goal? The Flower Event turns line clears into a collectible bloom.

How the Modes Differ

The core rules never change: an 8×8 board, three blocks per round, no rotation, and line clears for points. What changes is the goal. Classic and the Flower Event run on the endless engine; the Daily Challenge replaces it with a fixed seed so results are comparable. Unblocked is the same game with a fullscreen convenience layer.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is there a level-based Adventure mode?

Not yet. Today the game offers classic endless, the daily challenge, unblocked play, and the flower collection event. Adventure-style levels are on our roadmap.

Do all modes share the same high score?

No. Each mode keeps its own progress, so your classic best is separate from the daily leaderboard and the flower event progress.

Are these modes free?

Yes. Every mode is free to play in your browser, with no sign-up required.
